The Coronavirus pandemic compelled many instructors to shift the majority – if not all – of their instruction to video. It’s essential that instructors understand how to make an effective course video. In this workshop, we’ll provide a foundation in understanding how the brain processes pictures and words and leverage cognitive psychology research to provide evidence-based best practices on designing and delivering effective videos.
